Unfortunately, I found out about this Ted Baker event a few days too late. What a fantastic idea! The Ted’s Drawing Room web page has already come down too. Boo!
Here is the description of the event from their Facebook page:
To celebrate the launch of Ted’s SS12 campaign The Great Exhibitionist and his Private Views, Ted’s collaborated with a host of acclaimed illustrators to create a digital fashion portrait service called Ted’s Drawing Room.
If you fancy one, pop into store,* try on pieces from the new collection and pose for a photo in one of Ted’s ‘Exhibitionist’ photo booths. An image of your Ted look will be taken using Instagram and the photograph will be automatically beamed straight into the artist’s studio, Ted’s Drawing Room, to potentially be re-created by one of the illustrators.
Ted will send those that have their portrait done a digital copy to share and show off and then a signed, framed original version soon after. All while being streamed live on Ted’s UK & US Facebook pages between 12pm – 8pm GST.
