This year Louis Vuitton collaborated with prominent stylist Kim Hersov to combine the Ready-to-Wear Icons of the house and the Spring/Summer 2013 Collection, showing how pieces can be incorporated from each collection to create distinctive and inventive looks. In order to celebrate this partnership in an original and playful manner, Louis Vuitton has presented four looks styled by Kim Hersov as paper dolls mixing these two adaptable collections on each doll.
Paper dolls have been children’s toys for over two hundred years. In particular, vintage paper dolls are highly sought after today as collector’s items due to the limited durability of paper.
Louis Vuitton collaborated with Australian fashion illustrator Kerrie Hess to create these stylish paper dolls, which personify the versatility of these two collections with their own unique style and present the mix and match story in a playful and original way.
Here you can see all the different looks styled by Kim Hersov and the making of film of the collaboration.
