David Bowie Is at the AGO

I had the chance to attend a preview of the David Bowie Is exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario. It’s definitely a must-see in my opinion.

Over 300 items from Bowie‘s own archive are on display including sketches, notes, lyrics and costumes. The exhibit is curated in themes which makes you realize just how broad the range of this artist truly is: singer, painter, mime, actor, visionary. The whole experience is completely immersive as you’re enveloped with 3D sound; music and interviews courtesy of the audio guides created by Sennheiser.

This collection comes to Toronto via the Victoria and Albert museum in London and is the first stop on its world tour. The show runs until November 27 and then it makes its way to São Paulo, Brazil.
